Perth Summer Classes & classes through the summer…

I’ve only just realised how long it is since I’ve posted on here! I definitely need to make time to post more local and national yoga news/articles….

  • If you manage to find some spare moments this summer, what about taking some time for yourself?
  • What about trying a new teacher or style of yoga ?

Every year in Perth, the lovely Cathy Swan organises a different local teacher to take a 90 minute class. All through July & August 2016, the Perth Summer Classes will run every Monday, from 7.00pm to 8.30pm.

You’ll find the class in the St Leonards In The Fields Church Hall. The entrance is via a gothic-style door, up a few steps near the corner of Marshall Place / James Street.

I am of course very chuffed to have been included on the list and will be teaching on the 25th of July. However, do go along any Monday to try out some of the classes – there are some fab teachers in Perthshire!

My own classes (Tuesdays in Scone or Thursdays in Perth) are continuing through the summer months, although some weeks will be quieter than others as it is holiday season. So if you don’t currently attend, you can always drop me a line to see if there is space for you. No need to block book as I try to teach something different most weeks!

A new Perth class….

I am really delighted to be able to share that I will be restarting a Perth class this summer!

The hall I was using before unfortunately didn’t work out so after a lot of searching, I am very pleased to have found an alternative venue.  I’ve also shifted days as my own circumstances have changed.

We will be meeting from next week (Thursday 25th June 2015) and every subsequent  Thursday in the Threshold Hall of St John’s Episcopal Church on Princes Street, PH2 8LJ. Travelling by car, it’s on the right, just before the lights at the junction of Princes Street and Canal Street (opposite Farmer Autocare, the tyre/exhaust place).

I will start the class at about 6.05pm so no one has to pay for parking. The cost will be £6 / class.

It would be great if you could drop me a line if you intend to come. And if you need some more information about the classes or would like to reserve a mat, then please drop me a line as I can arrange to borrow some if I need to.

Hope you will enjoy coming as much as I enjoy teaching….

Best wishes,

Carol

New Perth Yoga Class Starting September…

Great excitement for me this week…

I have confirmed my new Perth yoga class will be starting on Wednesday 3rd September 2014!

The class will be held at 6pm till 7.15pm in the lovely Chapterhouse Hall, St Ninians Cathedral, Perth. (The entrance for the hall is round the back, near the traffic lights opposite the police station, approx. post code PH1 5NL.)

The class will be suitable for all levels of ability, so if you haven’t tried yoga before you would be very welcome to join us. There will be mats etc available, so the only thing you need to bring is yourself and maybe a friend….

Perth Summer Classes

Good news! The Perth summer classes are running again this year.

They start this week (3rd July) and continue till 14th August. They are in the St Leonards in the Fields church hall on Thursdays from 7pm till 8.30pm.

Just in case you are not sure where that is, it’s the church at the side of the South Inch, the entrance to the hall is at the Inch end of James Street. There is usually plenty of on-street parking at that time of night.

Each week there is a ‘guest’ teacher so these classes are a great way of experiencing a few different styles of yoga. They are popular though, so space can be an issue if you don’t plan to arrive in plenty of time.

For one week only – next week,  10th July – I will be taking the class (eeek!).

Please note though, that the Tuesday evening class in Scone will be running as normal throughout the summer.
